Making Junk Fun: A Best of Bristol film

Have you ever wondered what happens to the things we own when we don’t want them any longer? Explore issues of recycling and reuse in fascinating and fun ways; it's time to make junk fun!

Through our Best of Bristol virtual fieldtrip to the Children’s Scrapstore and related resources, pupils can create their own junk sculpture and complete the Virtual Field Notes challenge sheet.

These learning materials would make fantastic introductions to topic work around waste and sustainability, but also work as standalone lessons individually.

As in all our virtual fieldtrips, the pupils themselves lead the learning, ask the questions we are all wondering about and leave us with plenty of food for thought! Time to make junk fun!
