Roving Reporters

Roving Reporters is a lesson plan inviting students to understand the links they have with the natural world, and to present their work creatively using video.

The Eden Project is all about connecting people with the natural world. Its plant collection includes plants for food, medicine and materials. This lesson encourages your pupils to create a TV report, potentially using video, with this philosophy at its heart.

The resource, Roving Reporters, includes an example of a TV script and scaffolding questions for interviewees.

The big question is if you should be a news presenter (in the studio), an outside reporter (interviewer) or plant scientist (botanist).
