This pupil-led lesson turns the classroom into a mini construction site, as pupils transform their 2D city plans into 3D model cities.
Accompanied by beautifully illustrated sample city buildings, DT making skills are put to the test. Extra challenge can be incorporated into the lesson through the use of grid references before the lesson finishes with a guided city tour where each group can discover each other’s creations.
