The Early Years Forestry’ Pack from the Forestry Commission comes with detailed instructions for teachers. Accompanied by colourful resources to print off and use.

Aims include enabling children to become familiar with the forest and exploring geographical features. They will use and create maps, design and make a variety of products using natural materials.  The exploration of forest animals and birds through a series of hands-on activities is also possible.

Additionally, throughout the pack, there are links to activities for the children to complete with their families.
