Climate Challenge

Using these resources pupils will explore the human impact of the climate crisis. They will investigate how communities around the world are being affected by climate change, and how people are responding. They will consider how communities are adapting to their own personal climate challenge.

Activities in these lovely Climate Challenge resources from Oxfam link to a number of areas of the curriculum. Subjects include science, English and geography.

These materials could also be useful as part of a topic about the environment. Alternatively, to support a whole-school approach focused on reducing the environmental impact of the school and/or community.

Ideally, learners will complete all six sessions. However, the resources are flexible and structured to enable teachers to create personalised learning journeys for their learners.
