Nature’s Orchestra
What could be more lovely than Nature’s Orchestra? A wonderful lesson for calm time outside, listening with care and purpose before adding to the cacophony.
In Nature’s Orchestra, pupils are encouraged to be conductors in charge of their very own orchestra, leading the ‘music’ by moving their hands along with the sounds that rise and fall.
Pupils then make their own orchestral soundscape by producing the sounds themselves. Pupils can use their bodies, found and natural objects to make their music.
A short lesson that can be repeated whenever your class need a little time in nature.
