Minibeast Trackers is a wonderful resource from the Eden Project. Pupils begin by participating in an unnature trail: a great way to encourage pupils to look more closely at the world around them.

Essentially, the activity involves the pupils trying to spot unusual objects placed in the natural world, before refocusing and looking for ever fascinating minibeasts.

Finally, those creatures are treated to a little luxury when your class build them their very own minibeast hotel.
