Working both inside and outside the classroom, children explore what they like and dislike about their neighbourhood, before using their manifesto to lobby decision-makers and electing representatives at a national and local level to make their changes happen. This resource requires children to investigate their local geography and contains plenty of opportunities for cross-curricular learning as well. Big Street Survey is a fun and engaging resource that raises the pupil’s voice and demonstrates what changes they want to see.
