Platform Rail

We supported Severnside, Gloucestershire, TransWilts and Worcestershire Community Rail Partnerships to take their joint education scheme from an idea to a reality.

After hiring a team of qualified teachers, January 2022 saw the beginnings of the joint education scheme starting to take place. Platform now supports schools in building cultural-capital with out-of-classroom experiences; helps schools to embed sustainable learning into their curriculum; and promotes access to future opportunities available to young people through train travel.

After conducting a lengthy feasibility study, we recruited a fabulous team of teachers, shaped the project name, branding, website and targets, and watched the concept grow from an idea to an award-winning, hugely oversubscribed education provision.

SH guided, trained, supported and equipped us with the tools we needed to turn the project from a concept into a concrete scheme. They are creative, communicative and flexible: they’ll always be my first port of call for future projects.
